Dr. Rehab Kamal has over twenty years of experience in the fields of music, rehabilitation, and music therapy. Throughout her career, she has worked with diverse age groups and ability levels, ranging from individuals with advanced skills to those facing various challenges such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), as well as different syndromes and developmental difficulties. Through her extensive experience, she has developed specialized programs that combine the therapeutic power of music with modern educational approaches, supporting the development of social, cognitive, and motor skills, enhancing self-confidence, and building bridges for communication and self-expression for individuals who often struggle to express themselves
Dr. Rehab has participated in numerous international conferences and specialized training programs in music therapy and has received several awards in recognition of her outstanding contributions. She has also delivered training programs and group sessions for both children and adults in general, and particularly for individuals with different abilities, with the aim of supporting their inclusion in cultural and community activities and raising societal awareness of their unique capabilities and potential.
In addition to her academic and research expertise in curriculum development, Dr. Rehab served as a member of the Music Education Curriculum Development Committee at the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates. Alongside her professional work, she continues her artistic career as a professional concert pianist with the SAKO Philharmonic Orchestra, the largest symphony orchestra in the world. She has performed on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including the Royal Albert Hall in the United Kingdom, the Berlin Konzerthaus in Germany, and the National Theatre in Madrid, Spain. One of her most notable performances was at the FIFA World Cup – Qatar 2022.
